At the Beach

Well, I have done shows at the beach...Hermosa Beach...Solana Beach, but let me tell you, the show at the Honda US Open of Surfing, in Huntington Beach, is on the beach, in the sand. This is the first time I have sold combs in my bare feet. If you are in the area, please come by and say hello, would love to see you.

Welcome to my new blog, Mane Line. A lot of my customers have asked how I got into the business so I decided that would be a good place to start.

Actually, a year ago last September I bought what I thought was an african butterfly hair comb. Well guess what, my little doxie pup chewed the comb and I couldn’t find the paper work on it. So, like everyone else who is looking for something, I hopped onto the internet and the nearest distributor I could find was in Canada. I called to get it replaced and found out that the comb I purchased was not an authentic “africanbutterfly”.

Well you all think I am a good sales person, don’t laugh….but by the time I got off the phone with my new friend, I had purchased 500 african butterfly hair combs. And as we were hanging up, she happened to say “oh, I believe that the name africanbutterfly.com might be for sale for a website.”
