Welcome to my new blog, Mane Line. A lot of my customers have asked how I got into the business so I decided that would be a good place to start.
Actually, a year ago last September I bought what I thought was an african butterfly hair comb. Well guess what, my little doxie pup chewed the comb and I couldn’t find the paper work on it. So, like everyone else who is looking for something, I hopped onto the internet and the nearest distributor I could find was in Canada. I called to get it replaced and found out that the comb I purchased was not an authentic “africanbutterfly”.
Well you all think I am a good sales person, don’t laugh….but by the time I got off the phone with my new friend, I had purchased 500 african butterfly hair combs. And as we were hanging up, she happened to say “oh, I believe that the name africanbutterfly.com might be for sale for a website.”

Just wanted to tell you I received one for my birthday and absolutely loveit! Unlike most combs you don't need to tighten it up after awhile. It stays in place, is comfortable because it is flat rather than sticking out like most clips, and its pretty. Thank you for a wonderful product!

The clips came. Thanks for the fast ship. They are WONDERFUL. I particularly like the blonde one. I actually wore one to bed and it was still there the next morning (no hair pull and no re-doing my hair 3 times a night to keep it out of my face).
